Mersin City Hospital
There are many megaprojects in Turkey like Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, giant third airport in Istanbul (the biggest one in the world), Marmaray Tunnel, 47-mile underwater railway tunnel which was built in nine years. And one of the striking projects is “city hospitals”.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım formally opened the first city hospital in Mersin on February 03, 2017.

A modern hospital complex, the place provides more access to a diverse array of health services for the public than an ordinary public hospital and will be operated by the private sector.
We will crown the second period of transformation in health with city hospitals. We will make 41 thousand beds. In Turkey, 1/3 of the beds belonging to the Ministry of Health will be in city hospitals. If Allah permits, we will not have any hospitals other than the ones with one bed for one person (in one room) in Turkey until the 2020s. Health Minister Recep Akdağ
